Overview

Excellent opportunity for a talented C#/WPF GUI Developer to join a Boutique HiFT Firm in Sydney, contributing to the development of high-frequency trading applications. As a GUI Developer, you will play a key role in creating user-friendly interfaces to facilitate trading activities for our clients. ESOP on offer for top performers after 12 months. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into effective GUI designs
• Develop and maintain user interface components using C# and WPF technologies
• Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and scalability of the GUI applications
• Integrate with back-end systems and contribute to the overall architecture of the trading platform
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# and WPF for GUI development
• Solid understanding of high-frequency trading or financial trading concepts
• Experience in user interface design and development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with the traders and other stakeholders to translate user requirements into functional GUI designs
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices and industry standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance the efficiency and performance of the GUI applications
