Solutions Architect

Solution Architect with strong Azure experience for a long-term project.

6-month contract with the view to extending.

Based in Melbourne and willing to go into the office for 1-2 days.

For this role, you must be based in Australia with full working rights, and no sponsorship available.

We've been engaged by a market leader in the Utilities space, they need a Cloud Architect to help deliver a large technology roadmap.

This position is perfect for an experienced contractor who has participated in extensive transformations and possesses robust expertise in infrastructure, networking, cloud, integrations, identity, and end-user computing.

About the role:

Continue to evolve the strategic reference architecture and roadmap in alignment with the strategy.
Utilise your knowledge and thought leadership to drive the domain's business, product, and technology innovation agenda.
Collaborate with product and technology leadership across multiple lines of business to define a feasible delivery roadmap that utilises common capabilities where appropriate.
Lead the definition of end-to-end architectures for essential epics.
Guide solution architecture, engineering principles, and implementation of digital applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

Experience you'll bring:

We're seeking someone with a track record in building enterprise applications, coupled with a deep understanding of general software design principles and methodologies.
As an architect, you should possess a strong appreciation for integration architecture. Additionally, you should be adept at constructing highly resilient cloud and cloud-agnostic solutions.
Must have Azure experience
